Walking Talking Therapy

“I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees.”

       -Henry David Thoreau

Walking and talking therapy brings all the benefits of a normal therapy session with the added advantage of being out in nature. Being heard by a skilled listener and being held by the natural world can reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. It can also support recovery from personal issues such as trauma and bereavement or help to work through a problematic situation.

Each session is facilitated by a practitioner who is highly trained and experienced in counselling and psychotherapy and is BACP registered and fully insured.

Participants are not judged or told what to do during sessions. All information shared is fully confidential.

We carefully select local natural spaces which offer peace and quiet as well as the beauty of the natural world. These spaces may be unsuitable for those with certain health conditions or disabilities; if you feel this applies to you then please get in touch and we will do our best to seek alternative locations to suit individual needs.

Fees for walking talking counselling are £65 for 75 minute sessions.

Concessions are available for those on restricted incomes.
